Kyoto craftsmanship using traditional techniques, designs, and handicraft methods can be recognized by an official designation by Kyoto Prefecture: "Kyomono Designated Crafts". Kyoto’s uniquely beautiful culture of arts and crafts has been nurtured by over a thousand years of history. We look forward to acquainting you with our ancient and traditional methods of craftsmanship, alongside a few more innovative and contemporary applications.
